Ongoing & Chronic Care

💨Asthma — one-off inhaler prescriptions
🩸Diabetes — one-off prescriptions
❤️Hypertension — one-off prescriptions
ℹ️

One-off prescribing for long-term conditions: For asthma, diabetes and hypertension we can issue a one-off prescription where clinically appropriate — for example if you have run out, are between appointments, or need cover at short notice. For routine, ongoing management of these conditions we recommend continuing with your registered GP, who can provide the regular reviews, monitoring and blood tests that long-term conditions require.

Visiting the UK

Travelling with a long-term condition

If you are visiting the UK and take regular medication for a condition such as asthma, diabetes or hypertension, we may be able to help. Where you can provide a valid prescription record from your own country, our clinician can prescribe an equivalent medication following a consultation, if it is deemed clinically appropriate.

Before you book: please submit your prescription record through our enquiry form, together with any recent test results. Our team reviews these at triage so your clinician can identify the correct UK equivalent medication in advance — your appointment is then arranged once this has been checked.

Please note: we are unable to prescribe controlled drugs in these circumstances under any circumstances.
