Learning disability diagnostic — a complete diagnostic picture
A comprehensive learning disability assessment combining standardised cognitive testing with a structured assessment of adaptive and everyday functioning. A diagnosis of learning disability requires evidence across both domains, with onset during the developmental period.
No pre-assessment screening is needed for this assessment. Unlike our ADHD and autism pathways, you can request this assessment directly — there is no £185 screening step and nothing to pay before we have spoken to you. Complete the enquiry form and our psychologist will confirm suitability, timescales and the full fee before anything is booked.

A detailed diagnostic report setting out the assessment findings, clinical formulation, diagnostic conclusions and tailored recommendations.
Feedback Session
A dedicated session to talk through the results, what they mean in practice and what support may help.
Scoring & Interpretation
All test scoring, normative comparison and clinical interpretation are included in the fee — no additional charges.
Recommendations
Practical recommendations for home, education or the workplace, written so they can be shared with those who need them.
Hybrid format: The cognitive component must be completed in person, because standardised test materials cannot be validly administered over video. The functional and adaptive components — including informant interviews and questionnaires — are completed online. Venue details for the in-person session are confirmed by our admin team once your assessment is booked.
