Learning disability diagnostic — a complete diagnostic picture
A comprehensive learning disability assessment combining standardised cognitive testing with a structured assessment of adaptive and everyday functioning. A diagnosis of learning disability requires evidence across both domains, with onset during the developmental period.
A pre-assessment screening is required first. Before booking, you complete a set of screening questionnaires (£185) which our psychologist reviews. There is no appointment — you receive the outcome by email. If a full assessment is advised, the £185 is deducted from the assessment fee. A detailed diagnostic report setting out the assessment findings, clinical formulation, diagnostic conclusions and tailored recommendations.
Feedback Session
A dedicated session to talk through the results, what they mean in practice and what support may help.
Scoring & Interpretation
All test scoring, normative comparison and clinical interpretation are included in the fee — no additional charges.
Recommendations
Practical recommendations for home, education or the workplace, written so they can be shared with those who need them.
Hybrid format: The cognitive component must be completed in person, because standardised test materials cannot be validly administered over video. The functional and adaptive components — including informant interviews and questionnaires — are completed online. Venue details for the in-person session are confirmed by our admin team once your assessment is booked.
